Parish Summer Camp

The Totus Tuus Summer Camp is broken into two distinct streams:

Day Camp
(Grades 1-6)

Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 2:30 PM

The day camp helps children learn more about the Catholic faith in a caring, fun-filled environment. It is facilitated by our highly trained, college-age Totus Tuus missionaries with support from the local Parish Coordinator (assigned by parish/pastor).

Evening Program
(Grades 7-12)

Sunday to Thursday, 6:45 PM - 9:00 PM

The evening program is designed for students who are seeking to deepen their faith and grow in their personal relationship with Jesus. It is facilitated by our highly trained, college-age Totus Tuus missionaries, with support from the local Parish Coordinator (assigned by parish/pastor).

TOTUS TUUS
PARISH COORDINATOR

Parish Coordinators play a crucial role in the success of Totus Tuus! They are responsible for coordinating promotion and registration of the program, overseeing the use of facilities, and providing for the needs of the missionary team.

To equip Parish Coordinators with everything they need, we have created a Parish Information Binder that covers the whole scope of their role, every step of the way. Throughout the year, we have two Archdiocesan Totus Tuus Coordinators who are available to assist in planning the camp at the parish level: Gabe Marania at the Office of Vocations and Courtney Hennessy at the Office of Catholic Youth. It is important that we have accurate contact information for the Totus Tuus Coordinator of your parish. Please contact youth@ocytoronto.org to provide this information if we don't already have it.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling a priest(s) for daily Mass and Confession

  • Providing snacks for the evening program

  • Finding volunteers to help during the day program

  • Organizing and promoting the potluck, including set-up and clean-up

  • Reserving facilities for the team and helping set them up

  • Promoting the program, collecting registrations, and providing camper name tags

  • Arranging accommodations and meals for the missionaries

  • Being available during the parish's camp
week to deal with any issues that arise
